At first light in Ottawa, our team was ready for a good challenge: a large-scale commercial shoot for GardaWorld Sécurité in a single day. This mandate, designed to refresh the images on their website, complemented a photo and video production carried out in the United States. In Canada, our mission was to capture a more local and authentic style to reflect the company’s identity.
With a team of four models, four extras, a videographer, a production coordinator, a make-up artist and myself as photographer, every minute counted. Our three carefully chosen shooting locations were ready to host this day against the clock… until the weather intervened! It rained, forcing us to adapt our shooting schedule.
But nothing the team hadn’t anticipated. Félix Côté, our videographer, Andrea Santos, coordinator, and Pamela Liboiron-Arias, make-up artist, rolled up their raincoat sleeves to ensure that every scene went perfectly. From polished portraits to action scenes, every shot was designed to capture the rigor and commitment that define GardaWorld Security.
At the end of the day, the faces were tired, but satisfied! We had captured a total of 120 photos and 68 clips for this photo and video production. We owe much of this success to the confidence of our client, Catherine Patry, Senior Director of Global Marketing. This project was one of the most demanding, but also one of the most memorable – a perfect demonstration of what a motivated team can achieve.
