Summit, founded by passionate skiers, is not just a skiwear brand, it’s a movement.
Their elegant, functional coats, created by skiers for skiers, embody the spirit of the mountains.
A snow-colored canvas
Working with an emerging brand like Summit is a fascinating adventure. Every emerging brand like theirs is a blank canvas where everything remains to be created. That’s what I love the most. The first photo shoot is particularly crucial: it’s the time to define the company’s visual identity, its values, and the emotions it wishes to convey through a photoshoot. Although Summit had a clear understanding of its target audience, the big challenge was to visually captivate that audience. Which emotions to convey through which images? It’s impressive to realize how well photos can define a brand and convey its energy.
The first photoshoot: the most important
For Summit, the challenge was to visually illustrate this passion for the mountains and accessibility to the sport, while highlighting the style and functionality of their products.
Working solo on set, I had to be both creative and precise.
Every choice I made, every shot I took, helped shape Summit’s image.
All in all
This first photoshoot for Summit was an incredible experience.
Not only did it set the visual tone for the brand, but it was also a testament to my own passion for photography.
Summit is now ready to conquer the world of winter sports, and I’m proud to have contributed to this pivotal moment.
Summit is the start of an exciting adventure, and I can’t wait to see how far the mountain will take them!
