Documenting AI Impact: My Experience with Vooban and Adrien Tosti

Last June, I had the chance of documenting Vooban’s AI Impact conference, formerly known as the Digital Shack. Every year, Vooban brings together experts and enthusiasts of artificial intelligence for an evening of exchanges and experience sharing. The event, always a great success, is a must for the AI community. In collaboration with photographer Adrien Tosti, I had the pleasure of capturing the evening’s highlights and immortalizing its success.

Today, the term AI is everywhere, used as a buzzword.
But Vooban’s AI Impact conference aimed to get back to basics, by presenting concrete, tangible cases of AI application, especially useful for Quebec managers.

During the day, Hugues Foltz, as master of ceremonies, brilliantly balanced presentations and discussions.
Each session resembled a wide-open conversation, where all participants were invited to interact actively.
The Q&A at the end of the evening was particularly relaxed and inclusive: AI experts asked pointed questions, but novices were equally welcome, creating an enriching and dynamic mix of perspectives.

Collaborating with video artist Adrien Tosti on this project was an extremely positive experience.
You never know what to expect from a first experience with a new collaborator, but everything went smoothly and productively.
It certainly won’t be our last collaboration!

Vooban’s AI Impact Conference demonstrated the potential of artificial intelligence for business, and the importance of exchanging and sharing knowledge on the subject.
It’s always a pleasure to work in a context like this.
